Meet Zack
Zack Ufland LMFT, is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and private practice consultant based in Raleigh, North Carolina. He is the co-owner of a thriving, private-pay group practice that he operates alongside his wife, bringing both clinical expertise and real-world business experience to his work with practice owners. Zack understands firsthand the emotional, relational, and operational complexities of building a sustainable mental health practice with family.
Through years of intentional investment in professional development, including comprehensive training, one-on-one coaching, retreats, summits, and mastermind experiences, Zack successfully translated strategic insight into practice. The result is a healthy, values-aligned group practice that is not only clinically strong but also financially sustainable and consistently profitable. This experience sparked a passion to support other clinicians in doing the same.
As a consultant, Zack serves solo practice owners, small group practice owners, and clinicians navigating the unique dynamics of co-owning a practice with a spouse or employing family members. He brings clarity, organization, and steadiness to situations that often feel emotionally charged or overwhelming, helping owners build businesses that are structurally sound, relationally healthy, and aligned with their long-term vision.
A core element of Zack's approach is helping practice owners experience greater freedom financially, emotionally, and spiritually so their businesses can become vehicles for generosity, service, and meaningful impact in their communities.
Beyond his professional work, Zack is a devoted Christian and father of two daughters. He is an avid reader, music enthusiast, and lover of complex board games. His favorite moments are often the simplest: dancing with his girls, usually to the sound of the Grateful Dead. He believes that meaningful work and a rich family life are not competing pursuits, but complementary expressions of a well-lived life.
